How many times the mechanical shutter has fired — the 'mileage' of a camera. Not a standard EXIF tag; stored in maker notes by some brands.

What dedicated cameras write
Nikon, Pentax and many Sony bodies write it to every photo. Canon generally doesn't; some models need a USB tool.
How to view Shutter Count on iPhone
Open the photo in Photos, tap Share, then View EXIF (EXIF Viewer’s action extension). The field is listed under “Maker notes”. Or drop the photo into the free online EXIF viewer.
