These Terms govern your use of the free online EXIF metadata viewer at exifviewerapp.com/online-exif-metadata-viewer (the “Tool”), operated by Fluntro (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Tool you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Tool.

The Tool is free and provided “as is”

The Tool lets you open a photo in your browser and view the metadata stored inside it. It is provided free of charge, on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind — whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement — to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Accuracy of metadata — please read

The information the Tool displays is read directly from the file you provide and is shown to you exactly as found. We do not verify, correct, or guarantee it. Metadata can be:

You must not rely on the Tool, or on any metadata it displays, as a sole or authoritative source of truth. Do not use it as evidence, or as the basis for any legal, forensic, investigative, insurance, financial, safety, or other consequential decision. If you need a verified determination, please consult a qualified professional using appropriate tools.

Location data — a caution

If a photo you open contains GPS data, the Tool will display where that photo was recorded. You are responsible for how you handle, store, and share such information. Take care when sharing original photo files, as their embedded location can reveal where you live, work, or were present.

No warranty; limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Tool, or your reliance on any information it displays — including any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, loss of data, or decisions made on the basis of metadata shown. Your sole and exclusive remedy if you are dissatisfied with the Tool is to stop using it.

Your responsibilities

You agree to use the Tool only with content you have the right to use, and only for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the Tool or attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with its operation.

Third-party links

The Tool may link to third-party services, such as the Apple App Store and mapping providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service you choose to visit.

Intellectual property

The Tool — including its design, text, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. The open-source exifr library used to parse metadata is included under its own licence.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including, where applicable, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kerala, India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
